In this post, I am going to talk about how to remove your own clicks from Google Analytics.
Okay, so first of all, why would you want to do that?
Well, if you are like me, then you would have probably already been a thousand times on your website either from a direct link, search engine search of social media link.
The problem with this is that it messes with your report. I mean, yeah sure, you can go on Google Analytics, get a calculator, set the results based on the country and do the 2nd-grade math. The problem with that is that you will not know how many people will come from your country and if you run a local online business, this could easily screw you up.
Have you noticed that I didn’t say that in this post I will “show” you how to do that?
Well, that’s because I am really lazy. I already have created a similar post to show you how to ban bots from different cities in order to not mess up your Google Analytics report.
Here’s the post: How to get rid of Google Analytics Ashburn Bot.
All you will have to do is to just replace the Ashburn city with your own city!
