I already finished wishing happy holidays to all of my friends and family and I couldn’t let those holidays pass without wishing you happy holidays as well!
Even though you might not celebrate Christmass, I think that you should take time and relax as well! 😀
I know that once you grow up, those holidays might become more and more irrelevant for you. Christmass, New Year, your name day, your birthday and so on. The holiday spirit starts to slowly fade away when you have too many things to do or when you might worry about stuff that you can’t control.
I can tell this because it happened to me as well. For example, when people asked what I was doing for the New Year’s Eve, I’ve told them that I was going to study or work or etc. I never even thought that I will take time and just celebrate. To take some time off, to have fun and to just enjoy life.
I have to say that I haven’t enjoyed life in the last 7-8 months since a tragedy occurred. I was just too busy to work and study and completely forgot that there is more to life than this. However, in the last few days, I started to realize that from time to time you just need to take some time off and do nothing. In my opinion, this is a good thing because after you take some time off and “have fun”, you might come with a new perspective of how to solve things. A perspective which you might not even think off due to the fact that you might be too busy in solving the problem in one way.
I took a few days off and right now I feel that my problems aren’t that big. I would advise for you to do the same. Just take some time off and remember to enjoy life. Right now I am far more motivated than I was in the last two-three weeks. I am more determined and I am sure that I will be able to solve all of my problems in the next year.
Even though we have grown up, I believe that we should not let our problems to get the best out of us and instead we should start to enjoy those holidays as we did when we were kids.
